Instead of maple syrup

i found a better recipe.

Tablespoon of peanut butter
1-2 tablespoon of silk milk
cinnamon (if you want)

melt the peanut butter in a bowl in the microwave
pour milk into the peanut butter and mix
let stand for a few minutes to soak up the milk
if you want to change the taste, add a few splashes of cinnamon
then just spread on pancakes.

taste pretty good!!

Forget the maple syrup-- use applesauce! I learned this while babysitting-- the kids liked it, and it was waaaay less sticky! I'm not sure how the sugar content compares though.
  • i'm definitely trying this!
  • Bah. Give me the real stuff. Pure Maple syrup (born and raised on the stuff), Oh My Goodness great stuff. Takes a lot less than the junk you get from the store and better for you if used sparingly.

Plantation Blackstrap Unsulphured Molasses ... so yummy, plus 20% of your daily calcium and iron per serving.
