Need some strength training ideas

Help - I need to start some strength training but have absolutely no idea where to start. I have my own body weight, some 3,5 and 8 lbs free weights. I have a couple of strap 'things' - I know the techie term. I am starting out but have found the exercises in the book Strong Women Stay Strong - are too simple and easy for me. Anybody have any good websites or videos I should watch\ visit? I can't afford to get a trainer yet or join a gym. So it will have to be at home with weights or videos... I do walk, ride a stationary bike and am going to start the 30 day shred too.
