I bought a giant bag of avocados since they were on sale, and I was super hungry. I had one for dinner last night, and another tonight. Should I be eating these? They're a veggie, but so high in fat. Any advice is appreciated! Trying to lose weight.

I'd say limit these. Maybe use them as a spread instead of butter or marg0

It's the good fat. If ur able to fit it in ur macros dont see why not. They're good source of fiber, potassium, vitamins c,k, folate and b6. 1/2 of avocado has 160 calories, 15 grams of heart-healthy fat, and only 2 grams saturated fat.0

I eat an avocado everyday.
BTW, they're fruit not veggie.0 -
I eat avocado (about 1/2 a day) as a spread, with salad, with salsa, whatever -- love 'em -- and have still been losing. (Well, I don't eat meat or dairy and limited grains/pasta/bread so that may be the real reason). But I agree, they are full of good things for the body so no need to cut them out completely. If you're still pounding down meat and cheese and other high fat foods, you probably should limit the avocado fat.0

Every morning I mash 1/4 an avocado and put it on some toast with sea salt. I highly recommend it. Avocado does have a lot of fat; however, it's good fat. They have a lot of other great benefits as well, like healthier skin.0
