My challenge is to get in strength training at least 3x a week. I am thinking of doing the strength training here: http://www.slideshare.net/savvystephy/strength-training-1

I may have another thing to add later, but for right now strength training is my main goal.

My challenge is to stick faithfully to my workouts and my food plan whether I feel like it or not. I am feeling a little burned out, so I may plan to have a cheat meal and a little rest (not a whole week, though) in the near future. I'll post here when I figure it out for sure. I'm just "thinking out loud" right now.

My challenge is to get back on an eating plan and working out at least 3 times per week. Honestly, I will be happy with ANYTHING that I do to get back on track, but you guys already knew that!

***I challenge myself to do cardio six days a week. Mon-Sat and to do Strength Training three days a week, Mon, Wed, and Fri.

***I challenge myself to eat only healthy foods everyday minus one cheat meal on sundays.

These are two of the goals that are on my fridge now. Me and Darron are both doing the one cheat meal on Sunday. We wrote a list of all the places we want to eat at. Applebees, Chilis, Texas Roadhouse..etc... and we scheduled where we're going each Sunday. So all week when we're tempted to cheat we can say no and remember that we're getting some really good food on Sunday ;) It gives us something to look forward too. So when I am tempted by something I can ask myself do I want this right now?? or would I rather have a juicy steak on sunday? It's working so far ;)

My biggest challenge is to stay on program during my insane life of constant events/dinners/drinking/etc. functions!

As for fitness, I challenge myself to 4 days of cardio + 1 day of yoga + 1 day of pilates.

I should be going to the gym tonight to do strength training. But for today, I am also going to do 30 Day Shred.

My November Challenge - Dead Silence..........I have no idea, just sticking to it! Not "losing it" when it's birthday's, Thanksgiving, Dad coming up for a week, Halloween candy....

If I do what I was doing then I'll have no problems...the challenge these days just seems to be doing it.

I challenge myself to eat within my cals and exercise at least 5 days a week

I did good yesterday. I worked out, and I met my calorie goals exactly. I worked out today too, but I'm projecting I'll be over on my calories by 88. I goofed up entering stuff on my food diary and accidentally left something off. Oops. :ohwell:

I have not ate healthy. yesterday we stopped at chic fil a, and yes i ate waffle fries. got the kids and me a milkshake. and i ate fried chicken last night. i only ate those two times yesterday.

so, yeah, i'm not doing so good. but today i'm trying to get back on track.

I haven't gotten back into exercising yet - BUT.....I did check in every day this week (one way or another) and I'm paying closer attention to what I'm eating. I had salad 3 times this week. I am paying more attention to what I am eating and I am planning to start working out this weekend. Steppin my game back up...lol

I did Burn It Up today for the first time in a long time. It felt awesome! I've been doing Ramp It Up, which is only 11 minutes shorter, but it's less intense. It felt good to REALLY sweat today. I think I've been cheating myself by not doing it, but I was kind of sick of it after doing it six days a week for the last four weeks of Slim in 6. I took a long enough break that I can appreciate it now, and I'm going to alternate between that and Cardio Core Express, which is easier and shorter, so I don't get burned out on it.

I did 42 minutes of workout EARLY yesterday, I drank all my water, and I went over my calorie goals by 106, but I was hungry!

Jill - that's a great idea to alternate BIU and Cardio Core Express - it will give you more variety. I didn't work out this weekend. My craft show kicked my butt and I was just burnt out Sunday. I didn't do much of ANYTHING! I hate that I didn't get anything done, but I honor the fact that my body does need some rest.

Planning on working out tonight. I'm planning on S&L and SIU. It's been SOOO long, I'm going to be kind to myself and start back over at the beginning.

That will be a nice workout to warm you up and get your heart going. I bet it will feel so good to your body to do that!

Did a kickboxing workout today. Which added arms & legs strength training to tone buns, thighs, arms, and shoulders.

I failed on working out last night. By the time I was done grocery shopping and putting groceries away, eating dinner, etc - I was ready for bed.

Back to trying to get a work out in today. All I can do is take it one day at a time! :grumble:

I think maybe we need a more specific challenge to keep this thread alive.

On that note, I'm headed upstairs for some fun with Slim in 6. See ya!

well, i've realized that i'm not good at self motivating myself. I agree that we need specific challenges in order for me to even try! I'm a slacker! My new goal is to not be a slacker. I'm not sure how to do that though. I'm such an emotional eater! and so easily stressed out!!! I just want to go home and veg out on my couch and not move everyday!!! I'm a overplanner and underdoer ;)

December 1 is just around the corner. That would be a good time to start a new challenge, and it gives us a few days to come up with something so we can get started as soon as the first hits. Ideas?

    Good idea Jill...i'm not sure.

I think we should have a fitness and a nutrition goal though. and it needs to be something that we have to be accountable for everyday!!!
