Eating back calories?!?

Okay so I have been hitting the gym very hard the last 3 weeks I burn about 1000-1500 a day from my gym sessions. I am on a 1600 calorie a day diet according to MFP, how many is it okay to eat back?? When I am done with my workouts I am starving and always have my protein shake then dinner about an hour or two later but I am scared to eat the calories back! eeekkk help please!! :)
