What to do?

I have a 1/2 marathon in 16 days. I am battling plantar faciitis and tendonitis in both feet ( achilles in one foot and the tendon/ligamnets across the top of the other). ( Yes, I have good fitting shoes, and yes I have seen a dr)
My question: I have not run in 6 days to try and let my feet heal.I di 6 miles a week ago and couldn't hardly walk the next day. To Do I continue to rest and just go out and run my race, or lightly train and do short easy runs, or keep going with my training as if I feel fine?
When I run, my feet feel ok, but once I stop the pain is almost unbearable. Running feels better than having to walk some of the distance. Once I start to walk, I can feel everything tightening up and the pain radiates up into my calves. So a run/walk isn't an option. After I run, the rest of the day and into the next my feet and legs HURT. I have a high pain tolerance, so trust me when I say it really hurts.
I am a long time runner, have done many 5ks and 1/2 marathons. Up until mid july I was logging about 30 miles per week and my long run days were around 10 miles. I did my last long run 2 weeks ago.
I really am at a lost of what to do. My dr just said to do what feel ok for my feet. I hate to push through the pain and really injure myself, but also don't want to get to the race day and not be prepared.
Thanks for your input!
