Why slow progress wouldn't be so bad

It takes a deficit of 3,500 calories to lose a pound.
If we only lose a tenth of a pound every day by cutting out just 350 calories...
Then in one year that's a 36.5 lb weight loss. For me, that's a nice dent in the total I need to lose.

yea, its frustrating when one week ago, i have a loss, and one week later, i gained! the scale really is either a friend or a foe, but i take solace knowing that either a gain or loss, i am continuing with my new change of lifestyle and losing inches
thanks :bigsmile:0 -

That's a good way to look at it. My slow progress has been frustrating. Especially since I have kicked my workouts up several notches and working out is not my favorite thing to do. But at least it's progress.0
