Looking to start doing the C25K program starting Monday( never been a runner). i would really like to hear about some of your experiences with this for motivation. did anybody just do the C25K program along with eating healthy? do you have success pics? also i am looking to start out doing it on my treadmill then move to being outside. does anyone have any advice to offer. like what is the best speed to do for walk/ jog/ run and should i have an incline. any advice would be much appreciated. Please post pics if you have them. thanks~ wish me luck. really want to stick with this.

I've done it twice now. It's a great program, sometimes i just wish it had different music to run to. It's easier to run on the treadmill compared to outside. Don't think of it as a failure, but jusy know you may last longer on a treadmill compared to when you go outside and have all of the distractions like hills, cars, uneven pavement, dogs chasing you, weather, etc. All in all, it's good for you. Just do it, and don't worry if you need to repeat a day. Repeating a day or week will only make you stronger. Good luck and have fun! :)

I have never done the c25k but started running in 2003, I am a slow runner but enjoy it, I do 5 and 1 run 5 min and then walk one min. this is how i train and do my marathons. I do it for me and getting the medal at the end, hurt my foot and starting to get back to it. just be careful start slow don't bite off more than you can chew at first good luck

I'm currently doing it right now. I just finished week 5 day 1. And I'm loving it! I use the iPhone app. It's really easy to use. I run outside so I don't know how fast I'm going, and that doesnt matter to me right now. I'm just happy that I'm out there doing it!

I'm on Week 7. I've done it all on the treadmill. Run slow. If you can't get past a day run slower.
