Just joined! Getting ready for Wedding!

Hello everyone! My name's Jeanette and I joined hoping this will keep me on track with my eating habits!
I completed P90X two years ago and lost 30 pounds and numerous inches. I didn't do the program again after the 3 months and took up running. I completed 2 half marathons and then a marathon. I stopped running due to the heat down here in the South (Charleston, SC) and I've gained 15 nasty pounds back
I'm getting married in t-minus two months and 3 days. I've started up P90X2 (with some P90X original workouts) to hopefully lose that gained fat. I completed month 1 with only losing 3-4 pounds. I wasn't happy. So I figured I needed to look at my diet. Just thinking about it wasn't enough so I joined to add up what I'm eating and while it's not too terrible, it's definitely not going to help me lose the weight!
Can't wait to meet everyone!

Congrats on the upcoming wedding! I was in the same spot: working out a lot but not seeing the results because of the nurtition side. I thinkg that MFP is a great place to set a handle on calories in and out. Good Luck!0

Welcome Jeannette. I just joined on Wednesday myself. I did take the time this morning to fill out my profile. Gives everyone a little idea about who you are and what you want to get out of MFP. I stalled at 4 lbs with excercise and my doctor recommended MFP to help me keep track of my caloric intake and get a better handle on my eating habits. I'm normally pretty good with what I eat since my husband has Type 2 Diabetes but I'm not happy with my weight and as I get older it's not getting any better.0
