Treadmill interfering with Dish Signal

Has anyone had this problem? We got a new treadmill and it's knocking out the dish signal to the whole house.... not just the receiver downstairs in the room with the treadmill. I can watch what has been pre-recorded but this screws it up for anyone else in the house. Also the receiver in the our living room has to be rebooted everytime I get off the treadmill. That is the oldest receiver in the house.
I know I need to call the Dish people but just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Definitely call the dish peaple. Is the treadmill new? Electrical equipment can cause ground loop intereference. The treadmill could just put lots of electrical noise out, but I all the treadmills I see at the gym these days have a tv built right into the machine, so there might be a short or something. You could check out this link, but it was mostly over my head:

Maybe it's a sign for everybody get off the couch in front of the TV and get on the treadmill?
I hope it's not the other way round!0
