Kale Chips!

Feeling like a crunchy snacks and don't want to reach for the potato chips? Why not make Kale Chips to satisfy that craving to crunch? I've posted a section on my blog on how to make them if anyone is interested. http://leanyourbean.wordpress.com/2009/10/06/kale-chips-the-healthier-chip/

Kale has great benefits, including building your immune system (which we could all use..H1N1, need I say more?), it's beneficial in losing weight and it's loaded with vitamins and nutrients! My two year old loves when I make the Kale Chips! She gobbles them right up! I don't use anything anymore on my Kale Chips as recipes call for and they taste just as good, if not better! But you can season them according to your individual tastes! Sometimes I'll add a little mixed seasoning with no salt added.

You can put raw kale into smoothies too! I haven't tried that yet though! Anyway I thought I would pass along the info! :heart: :happy:
