Well its 97 degrees outside but I had to change the snow tires off of my old beater car and put the hi-ways back on. I'm not sure but it seems like that was way more exercise than riding the recumbent for a couple and hour plus. Has anyone ever stooped to figure it out?

Heck, its strength, cardio and pain therapy all in one. I did pushups, squats, arm curls, bench presses, etc. so might that count as an hour circuit training?

Should have worn a HRM - sounds like you got a good workout.

I don't log anything but my actual exercise but if you want to log it I would log it at lower than what you think it is if you intend to eat back your calories. JMO

Depends... if you had a hydraulic jack then you didn't do much.. however if you had the scissor-jack only that came included with the vehicle and had to get creative for a handle to get the scissor action to work.. that's quite a workout i agree... especially if it was all 4 tires not just the one flat I had to change last weekend with all tire shops in town closed due to the long weekend (small town, they are closed for business on Sunday every week anyway) but this was Friday...
