Hi!
I'm 20 years old and currently 129.6 pounds. Every summer for the past two years, I tried to lose around 15 pounds, and I might have lost about 9, and then ended up gaining it back plus some (mostly because I ate under 700 calories) by the time I returned to school (I'm a stress eater). Even though summer is almost over, I have decided that it is time for me to make a change. My friends do not understand why I want to lose a few pounds because I "look" thin already, but since I'm 5'1, any extra pounds make me look heavier and it really messes with my self confidence. I'm not happy with my body (especially my thighs) and I feel self conscious when people are looking at me. So, I've decided to give it one more shot and stick with it and hopefully I can find some people on here, regardless of age, gender, and weight loss goal, to give me some motivation and support, and I'm willing to give it back. I'm going to do this the healthy way and try to exercise for at least an hour everyday (30 minute jog plus a Jillian Michaels DVD). I will begin this journey tomorrow: August 11, 2012.

Accepted I just read your profile and your story sounds pretty similar to mine. Can't wait to start this journey tomorrow. Thanks for the add.0

I'm down 89 lbs so far, (from 328 to 239 lbs today), down 44 lbs this year, and 19 since I got MyFitnessPal in May. Anyone can follow what I'm doing which is eating non processed food, have increased working out from nothing to very vigorous workout trips to the local Snap fitness gym0
