I haven't lost anything since july 1st. I've actually gained a lb or 2. Before the week I know I didnt really log my food and exercise but I did watch what i ate for the most part and I did workout almost 4-5 x a week. I've been good this week with everything except Thursday I didn't log my food. I haven't lost any more inches anywhere. My clothes don't fit any better. I'm. It sure what I'm doing wrong. I'm not giving up, just need some advice on what to do diffferent. You can look at this past week at my diary but before that I didn't log much. I do tapout xt every morning and on the rest day I do HIIT. My calorie goal is 1670 and sometimes I eat back exercise calories sometimes I dont. I drink atleast 8 bottles of water a day. I'm weighing in tomorrow so well see if I did lose any but measurements today didn't change. Anybody have any advice on things u can change? I'm a very picky eater. I don't like a lot of stuff. I probably could eat ALOT more veggies, but other then that??

Log your food and exercise accurately...weighing and measuring food...and be consistent with that. If your not logging your food you cannot honestly review your efforts...I can barely remember what I ate today lil own a week ago - keep at it0

Your didnt log most of thursdays foods and it looks like a bit of processed foods and not much in the ways of vegies nd you dont seem to eat breakfast?. Try to eat clean as much as possible? Also you dont have your sodium tracked...id look at that cos that may be higher then the recommended level0

I'm not hungry for breakfast. Is a protein shake alright for a breakfast meal after a workout?0

I would think so...its not what I choose for breakfast but plenty of people do. Maybe have a protein shake and a piece of fruit?0

It seems for me when I log the food and exercise I tend to cut the lbs. I guess it is because i stay aware of what I am eating during the day.
Having the friends son MFP to support helps also. If you want another friend feel free to add me.
Keep the faith, stay with it and log, log, log.

you need to accuratly log your food every day, especially in the beginning. log every day, every cheat day, days you go over, etc etc. it doesn't matter if you go over your calories, but you still have to log so you can be aware of your food intake. log your food the night before too, to be better prepared.
food helps you lose weight, exercise gets you fit.0 -
Is breakfast really the most important meal of the day? I got my protein shake today for it. Thanks everyone!0

Don't open the breakfast can of worms around here, haha. Short answer is no, it's not necessary for everyone; if you feel better with it, have it and if you don't, don't worry about it.
Focus on tracking everything. Don't stress too much about getting all the numbers right immediately; you need to get a baseline idea of what you're eating. Start tracking everything you eat, no exceptions. If it goes in your mouth, write it down. Once you start seeing what those foods look like, you'll be able to start optimizing what you're doing. But until you're aware of what your diet actually looks like in a normal day or week, you're putting yourself at a significant disadvantage.0
