I have tried loosing weight off and on for years. In 2007 I was working out at gym as hard as my friend was and lost 5 pounds in 3 months but did loose inches. In 2009 restarted loosing weight lost inches and pounds - in nearly 2months lost 20-25 pounds which included walking 5days aweek 4 miles a day ,about 2 hours in gym 3 days a week and hiking 2 hours on 1. Watched what I ate ,tried drinking half of my weight.
This time around I started Walking 1- 2 miles a day from June 22-August 3 ,then joined gym on August 4. My weight has been between 237-239 and I can't seem to shake them numbers. I haven't taken my measurements this time. But I have been told by husband.daughter and friend looks like I have lost something.
I know muscle weighs more then fat. I know too loose one pound =3500 calories. This week I have been really using the track food. Im not going crazy in gym but I have decreased my calories too atleast 1200-1500 and burning atleast 300-400 in gym.
I am just started a few days a go taking a B vitamin to help with retention. I am not a salt-a-holic like some people I know but I have had the problems with stuff like sweet tea which I am working on.
Does anyone have problems like this?
