Guys,
Recently I have been running into a problem. I have been eating a net total of somewhere between 1200-1600 calories a day and I exercise almost daily (I aim for one pure off day a week). However, it seems that despite the multiple 3.5 mile to 6 mile runs (with some sprint workouts in there too......my last sprint workout had my quarter mile sprints at under 1:50 each the entire time with more then half of them under 1:45) I am just not losing any weight. I was down to 158 and now I am up at 160, which i have been for the last 2-2.5 weeks. I know my clothing is fitting looser but the weight won't go away.
I have been told that I am probably gaining muscle, which normally would be great execept that I am in the Army. I don't know if y'all know this but the army has height-weight standards that you have to meet and I am currently only allowed to weight a max of 161 pounds. The entire reason I ramped up my exercise habits was to drop weight to make the standards. Any suggestions on how I can get my body to lose weight again instead of just gaining muscle?

It's most likely a temp change in weight due to water weight or monthly changes.
As a female you can't gain 2lbs of muscle in a short time.0
