Hey all,
So for about 4 days now, ive gone from 175 to 169. thats 6 pounds in 4 days and im worried that it might be too fast. Ive heard that losing weight too fast is bad for you, but ive also heard that when you start working out and dieting ; it is expected to lose "water weight" for like the first 10 pounds.
I went from eating a TON of calories a day to eating only 1400-1850 calories and working out about 30 mins a day.

thanks for any replies.

Sounds fine if its the beginning and mostly water. It depends on your height though. What proportion of body weight?

Do the happy dance. Rejoice in the pounds gone. Celebrate it. The first week or so is like this.
Now that that's over - get ready for the real work. You'll do great! Stay strong.

In the beginning that is very normal. I could lose 15lbs in 3 weeks when I would start up with weight loss in the past....but after that it levels off and becomes more slow and consistent.
