What does it take to look good?

I was fortunate to spend the evening people watching on Venice Beach, CA last week and I came to some revelations about what makes the ladies look good.
Regardless of their size and shape the three things that seem to make people look good where the ability to stand up straight without slouching, a little bit of a tan, and confidence. It isn't just about the amount you weigh.
So guys, ignoring the obvious stereotypes, what other things make the ladies look good?

Hello from the ladies here. I think looking good applies to everyone, and would like my suggestions to cover all genders.
I think it involves a constant assessment of how you look in the mirror, and through out the day.
an awareness of your body, and how your hold your posture and move.
Daily exercise.
Eating clean.
A lot of water.
a little make up.
wearing clothes that fit well and are clean.
"Enhancement procedures".
Daily grooming
Confidence
Happiness

I agree, there is A LOT to be said about posture and confidence, and a tan does help, "If you can't tone it, tan it" I have heard.
Talking totally vanity now, On most women a little bit of subtle make applied with a light touch can do wonders in making one look better and fresher (IMO less is always more when it comes to make up!), a good hair cut (and colour) that suits you, and clothing that suits you and fits you well, whether its XS or XL it needs to be a good fit, it makes a hell of a difference. As well as choosing clothing that suits your age.0
