I thought it was supposed to be healthier?

Okay, so I got myself a nice start to this morning. I made a stop to Subway and got one of their breakfast omelet wraps. I think that might have been a big mistake. Loaded with sodium, high protien (might be okay) saturated fats, and a lot of calories (for a breakfast item). Between that, lowfat milk and a yogurt I have 390 calories to go!?!? :noway: :noway:
Normally we'd be struggling to reach our goal but It is not even lunch time yet! The good news is I am not hungry. I just cannot believe I was tricked into thinking subway was ALWAYS good for you. Sure it may taste good, but in the long run it is not. I did not know this until I pulled up the subway website and looked up what I ate and  . I guess the possitive side is I am not hungry and it is good that I did look. Had I not, I would not have known that I just ate. Look it up and you'll see Subway omelet sandwich, I even told them to go easy on the cheese.. so they skimped me more than they do. So I loose a calorie or two, but GEEZ I cannot get over how much little food I had today and it was packed with that! So, how can I divide up 390 calories for lunch and dinner. I have an idea for dinner maybe I can eat one of those 90 calorie boca stuff, or a bowl of ceral for dinner. I just have to go easy at lunch wich is in about 2 hours.
Never again will I get a subway breakfast. I should have saved those calories for lunch and had a 90 calorie breakfast bar that had hydrogenated oils. That would have been better than todays breakfast. :explode:
Here's another thank you Jared.. Thank you Jared for not telling us how bad subways breakfasts are. LOL jk. I should have done some investigating of my own before. lesson learned I guess.

LOL!! sorry, loved the jared comment. maybe you could throw in a little more exercise and have some boullion for lunch with raw veggies, then a decent dinner. i'm thinking you could do a really good omlet with half eggs & half eggwhites with some lite cheese and veggies...
just a suggestion0 -
Lol yeah the Jared comment. My mom always tells me how thankful I should continue to be so I'm going to find and nit pick at everything to be thankful for. I'm going to make her more proud than she already is of me.
The idea actually does sound good. If I am thinking correctly wouldn't half eggs and half eggwhites equal a whole egg?0 -
subway can be deceiving i like the veggie sandwiches there because there is so much stuff on there i barely miss the meat n cheese. quiznos have sammies for under 200 cals (not all just 2 kinds) they are good but very small. At home now I eat wraps (but you have to search for low cal ones (I have seen them range from 80 cal to 280 cal per tortilla) But my recent favorite is wonder light wheat bread only 80 calories for 2 slices!!! So I add all the veggies I like, lite mayo 40 cal tbls and what meat and cheese i want . If I really need to lower the calories I skip the cheese or use grilled eggplant or mushrooms instead of the meat. Makes a good filling meal for not many calories0

The best breakfast you can get to go is at Mickie's. Get a Egg McMuffin with no butter. Very low fat and calories. Then of course a diet coke or coffee with splenda. Maybe a skim free milk.0
