Nutrition wise what do you have to eat to get abs? Everyone is always saying abs is 70% diet and 30% exercise....I've got the exercise down pact and I dnt think my diet is bad I'm vegetarian ... How strict does your diet have to be ? I've lost 51 lbs so far only 7-9lbs left to lose and I really see no change in my stomach I've lost about 3-4 inches of my stomach that's it....if the last 9lbs came from my stomach I would be HAPPY!!! I would like some advice on ppl who achieved getting abs ....

I have being Insanity for the past 6 weeks and if you look at my pictures there is a HUGE difference in my stomach alone. I have lost a crap load of inches. It is a very high intense cardio workout but well worth it in the end. I would definatly try Insanity but I also heard 30 day shred with Jillian is also amazing for abs. Hope this helps! And GREAT job on your weight loss you look awesome!0

Stopped reading here.
/sigh ...when will people understand that just because you're a vegetarian doesn't mean your diet is flawless or "not bad".0 -

Exactly. I was an obese teenager and I had been vegetarian since birth.0 -

First you have to get those numbers out of your head. Just because the scale might say 120 (or whatever your "perfect number" is) doesn't mean jack. You have to lose fat to see the muscles underneath. I wouldn't care if the scale said 200 but I was looking how I wanted to LOOK.
Keep a calorie deficit, eat adequate protein, lift heavy.0 -
I eat ok... I snack on fruits and veggies and when really hungry, raw almonds. I box and run. If you have fat, the abs wont show as well. That said, I eat pizza, tacos, and drink beer. :-D
You also need to strengthen the muscles, doing core exercises, some crunches (note I don't do insane crunching outside of boxing). I was ok ab wise until about six months ago... And then I started boxing and joined mfp... I've now got better abs than ever.
That's my uneducated take on things. :-)0
