Depends. If you eat them in moderation then there's no reason to throw them out.
Though if you have problems with moderation then throw out the most calorie dense food with high fat/carb content.

I agree! Especially if you normally like sweets and haven't worked up the willpower yet. I have only been doing this a few months but yesterday I went to the Hostess store and bought stuff for my husband and daughter. I looked at it all and was not interested. I have lots of junk in my house but I don't want it. You get so many calories a day, why waste half or most of them on something small and sweet? Just not worth it.

Anything that is highly processed that you love to eat.

When I make a grocery list, I plan for all my meals and snacks. I can buy all the fruit and veggies I want. I'll freeze it if I can't eat it all. But after that, I'm only allowed two healthy choices (like nuts and yogurt) and ONE (be strong) crap choice (like cookie crisp cereal).

If I bake something, I cut it up and freeze it so I don't feel like I have to hurry up and eat it all within a week (or a few days).
