Well, i bought yesterday a new weight scale device, i loved it when i read about its features, how it can analyze body fat %, water % and BMI based on saved information regarding my age, height and activity level ... i saw many weight scales like it at nutrition clinics .. any way i measured my weight on it yesterday at 11 PM and it was 232 lbs, i had only my breakfast of 486 Cal.. and then i ate nothing .. i went out to do some shopping .. when i returned back at 5 pm and before having lunch i said ok let try my new scale .. i found my weight is a WAY lower than yesterday .. i found it varying between 209 and 218 lbs !!!!
i said ok i am crazy maybe .. i asked my mom to step on it and lets see, as she tried it this morning after having breakfast and her weight was 163 lbs.. she tried it in the afternoon before having lunch and she found her weight 146 lbs !!!!

i just want to know .. are these HUGE variations something normal and i shall weight myself only once everyday with same conditions ( ex; in the morning, after shower and before breakfast ) to track my REAL weight ? or the device is crazy and i shall return it back to the seller

HELP PLEASE :(

Were both weights on that scale?

Where was the scale located? Hard wood flooring, on carpet, over the crack of tile, with something below it?

Try checking it's accuracy by putting it on a flat, level hard surface (tile, wood NOT CARPET) and put something of a known weight on it (hand weight for example) and see what it reads.

Ensure it's calibrated properly.... if putting a hand weight on it gives a different reading than the weight should weigh return it.

I find that my weight varies by a few pounds during the day - I usually weigh about 3 -4 lbs more at night than in the morning. TOM makes weight vary too, by a few pounds (typically up 3 -5 lbs before a period, could be as much as 7lbs). The sort of variation you're having makes me think your scales are faulty. I'd return them. I had a similar problem with cheap food scales a while ago - took them back to the shop & the replacement ones are fine.
