Day 6 Of New Lifestyle, First Hurdles....

I began my meal/exercise plan on Monday and have been doing good so far. Dropped about 2 lbs in 6 days. Today was my first challenge.

One of my coworkers is leaving so someone brought in a giant tray of cupcakes. I walked into the kitchen area for some water and spotted the tin. I peeked inside, but that's all I did. Normally I would have had one then and then another a few hours later. I did well there.

On the way home from work I stopped by a local party place since there was a birthday party for my nephew. People were trying to throw pizza, cake and soda in my face but I always politely declined. Towards the end I did end up eating a half slice of pizza since I was already out and past my usual lunch time anyway. I'm simply adjusting my eating for the rest of the day to compensate.

So far, so good!
