Milk in my Cereal

So I pour 1/2 cup of milk in my cereal every morning but there is a lot left over in the bowl when I am done with the cereal. Should I log less milk in my food log?

I don't....better to be under than over....maybe you don't measure in your favor throughout the day...so that is your insurance0
-
i have this issue also... i don't think the difference is that great maybe log 1/3 a cup instead?0
-
Digital scale! Better to be exact.0

Drink it.
Milk is healthy for you. :flowerforyou:0 -
try using 1/3 of a cup and see if that is enough for you rather then having any wasted leftover?0

Drink the milk. Some of the vitamins labeled are powdered on the cereal and come off in the milk. Drink the milk and you will get your full dose.0

Thank you for all of the advice!!0

I always log 1/2 cup even though I know sometimes it's less, and there is often some in the bowl. If you're really nit-picky about your calories, and don't want to waste any, then you could measure what's left and deduct it.0

I personally would just drink the milk, unless you don't like to?0

I don't like milk at all so I don't ever eat cereal (except for raisin bran sometimes...I eat it dry).
Any suggestions as to what I could put in my cereal? Something that doesn't taste so milky?0 -

I never got why someone would leave the excess milk after they eat cereal. Both my kids do that. I don't know where they got that habit from. That just seems weird to me. I always drink my excess milk. :huh:0

I like non-fat vanilla yogart mixed with my cereal. Adds more protein than milk.:happy:0

Way to go Betty! I'm with you. I always drink my milk. Even it doesn't look cool. (That's what my kids said)0 -
that milk that's left in the bottom of the bowl has little bits of soggy cereal in it. yuck!
Sometimes I sprinkle my cereal on top of yogurt ... kinda like a parfait ... something a little different0 -

As my mother (God rest her soul) always said, "It all goes to the same place"0 -
I found a solution to that, but I don't think its weight loss approved... I add more cereal until the milk is gone...bad habit huh?
I love my cereal, especially my magic stars.0 -
I always drink the milk, need all the calcium I can get.
If milk is not to your liking try yogurt on top instead or even soy milk.
My husband does what jseward does, add more cereal, but he is one of the lucky ones, metabolism is high.:flowerforyou:0
