Milk in my Cereal

Options
So I pour 1/2 cup of milk in my cereal every morning but there is a lot left over in the bowl when I am done with the cereal. Should I log less milk in my food log?

try using 1/3 of a cup and see if that is enough for you rather then having any wasted leftover?

Drink the milk. Some of the vitamins labeled are powdered on the cereal and come off in the milk. Drink the milk and you will get your full dose.

I always log 1/2 cup even though I know sometimes it's less, and there is often some in the bowl. If you're really nit-picky about your calories, and don't want to waste any, then you could measure what's left and deduct it.

I personally would just drink the milk, unless you don't like to?

I don't like milk at all so I don't ever eat cereal (except for raisin bran sometimes...I eat it dry).

Any suggestions as to what I could put in my cereal? Something that doesn't taste so milky?

I never got why someone would leave the excess milk after they eat cereal. Both my kids do that. I don't know where they got that habit from. That just seems weird to me. I always drink my excess milk.
