Getting back on track!

I am 24 years old. Mother of two daughters (3 and 4 years old). I love to run and I just ran my first 5k yesterday! I'm doing Insanity now. I am 5'8" currently 165 and my goal is around 135. Below is my story so far!
I have been doing myfitnesspal for about a year and half. I originally lost 46 pounds. Then everything changed at once and I lost my way. I changed jobs, my ex-husband passed away at the age of 24 ( we have two daughters together ages 3 and 4), and my doctor put me on birth control for medical reasons. This all happened in December 2011. I put back on about 15 pounds. I was tired all the time. I binged a lot. Stopped exercising completely. I had my physical and my doctor asked what was going on since I had put weight back on. I explained everything and she decided to change my birth control and asked me to start taking Vitamin D. About two weeks later, it's like everything has changed. I'm full of energy, I can get up at 5 AM everyday again. I'm back to exercising 6 days a week. I feel wonderful! So I have reset my ticker, no longer looking at the past. I have my new goals! I could use some new friends, as a lot of my old friends are no longer active. .

Hey, I'm getting back on track too and just read your post! Thanks for the inspiration. I've been off MFP for about a year....sort of wandering around in the wilderness here. :ohwell: Too much work and not much keeping balanced with my health. I've been being real careful with my diet for about two weeks and starting my nightly walk routine --- then about a week ago got up my courage to log back into my MFP site. Looks like my former friends have disappeared, too!
Keep up the good work and lets see if we can get something accomplished! I'll send you a friend request.:bigsmile:0
