I have a brand new scale but...

Surely this can't be right. I am weighing myself weekly but the scale shows today I lost 15 lbs in a week??? I eat my calories plus most of my exercise calories. I leave perhaps 100 a day 200 tops and I do 50 minutes of cardio 6 days a week plus some strength exercises (pushups, squats, situps). Surely I can't have dropped that much. Could it be delayed water weight loss?

That's a good idea but it would be awhile before I got the chance to do that.

Why would it be awhile? Go use one in a store....
  • they usually have scales in gyms, just go to the gym and do some exercise + weigh yourself :)

I don't have any way to get out today and I don't belong to a gym. I'm working insane hours this week. I'll check it again later and then maybe I can squeeze it in this week but shoot its hard enough to fit in my workouts.

No you didn't lose 15 pounds in a week. The scale is off. Try moving it to another location.

Good idea thanks. I thought that was waay unrealistic. I lost something though my jeans are looser...yea!

ETA... They're looser than the week I started anyway. I didn't wear this pair last week.
