This is one of my favorite recipies that I whipped up just recently using ingredients lying around. SInce i am a college student, i do not have a lot of time to cook, but i like to cook. I usually use shortcuts to cooking, like buying pre-chopped frozen veggies, using cut up string cheese for cheese. any of the things in this can be substituted for fresh. you can also omit the sausage and make a tasty vegetarian dish.

Ingredients:
Barilia Whole grain penne pasta- 1 16 oz box
Pacific Foods tomato and red pepper soup- 1 box OR
tomato soup- 2 cans
Jimmy Dean Sausage- 1lb roll
Corn- 1 cup
Peas- 1 cup
Onions, chopped- 1 cup
Green pepper, chopped- 1 cup
mozzarella cheese- 4 string cheese, cut up
Parmesan cheese- to taste
chili powder- to taste
italian seasoning- 1 Tbls
garlic powder- 1 tsp.

Prep:
Bring a pot of water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt when it starts to boil. Add pasta, corn, green peppers, and peas to the pot of water. let cook till pasta is al dente, stirring occasionally. In large skillet, brown sausage. add onions in when sausage is browned. Strain pasta and veggies, and add to skillet. add garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and chili powder. toss to evenly coat the pasta with the spices. Add tomato red pepper soup, and toss to coat. let cook on low for a few minutes to warm sauce mix. Add mozzarella and Parmesan cheese to skillet, and turn off heat, and serve. Serves 4-6 people
