Hi all, So I've noticed how many hours a day the contestants on "biggest loser" & "extreme makeover:weight loss edition" do workouts and was wondering would cardio twice a day for 60 min be more beneficial to losing weight and inches? Also, has anyone had success with doing this?
*It wouldnt be twice a day everyday, I was trying for twice a day 4 days a week, once a day twice a week, and one rest day where I would do a very light walk in the park.

I'm interested in knowing too. I have been doing double the cardio classes for a few days now and not seeing a difference yet.0

Go for it. Its not nessecary, but won hurt you.
Bu you're not going to be wanting TBL as your fitness guide. That will harm you.0 -
if you like cardio that much, go for it. It's really unnecessary though... all you need to lose weight is a calorie deficit.0

Why not add weight training instead of the extra cardio?0

Or try less, high intensity cardio like interval training. Short, hard, but effective.0

It could technically hurt, especially if she doesnt consume enough calories to offset the additional exercise. She could lose muscle mass or even create fatigue in her muscles. But there really is no added benefit of extra training. You can lose just as fast with one workout for an hour a day.0 -
I have to stop posting with this ipad. It's not even English I'm leaving in the threads lately0
