Hi everyone! My name is Norelle, I am 5'6" and weight 185 pounds. I come from a family which loves to eat good food but, unfortunately also means we tend to be on the heavy side. Last year I went to the emergency room due to dizziness and fatigue. While it turned out to be an anxiety attack, it really got me thinking that I didn't want to go through that ever again and that I should start trying to live healthier. I've attempted to lose weight before but this time my boyfriend and I have decided to lose weight together in order to keep each other motivated. During my googling of different exercises and diets this website kept popping up and I decided to join because it seems like a very rich, diverse website. Would really love to meet some people who are trying/ have already lost weight in hopes to keep myself motivated. I must apologize though, if I don't respond right away to posts. Please don't take it personally it's just I have a very busy schedule and can usually only check the laptop once a day during the week. Well, that's about it for me.     Welcome to MFP and glad you found the website. It is awesome - I am on here about 2 - 3 times a day and use the community because it helps keep me motivated. Feel free to add me as a friend. :smile:

    welcome. I think you will like it here, as you said it is diverse.
    I've had great success here I'm down 120 Lbs and have about 20 Lbs to go. I'm taking it slow now being more concerned with nutrition than weight loss. Add me if you like I log every day but do not live on the site, as you said very busy day and no access.
