I'm tired of dieting alone!

Hello MFP!
So, I want to lose about 50 more pounds. I have been over weight for years, and I'm tired of letting that run my life. I figure that I've tried doing it alone for this long and it hasn't worked, so I'm looking for some community and support
Any tips or words of wisdom? Thanks everyone!

Don't give up ! The pride you will feel as the weight comes off is so worth it. Once you decide absolutely to do it, just don't look back. It can be a little depressing at first but that passes as you lose weight. Just remember why you are losing it and how great you'll feel once you've done it!
Input EVERY CALORIE you consume,(even vitamins, tums etc) drink lots and lots of water and DO NOT DRINK DIET SODAS. Try to give up carbonated drinks altogether. I'm constantly drinking water and unsweet iced tea.
Counting calories DOES work, just give it time. You look young in your picture, lose it now and don't wait till you're my age(51).

Aw thank you! I think I do need to drink more water. Tea is a good idea, too.0
