I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this or not, but I was trying to log my workouts for today(Insanity Plyo) and I can not find it listed. I'm not even sure how I would add it to the exercise database as I have NO idea how many calories are burned.

Any help or advice? I would really like to log my Insanity workouts.

Thanks!

Oh yeah, my profile is set at active.

I use a heart rate based calorie calculator to give me a better idea of the calories burned. I take my heart rate for 20sec, usually 3x during water breaks at different points in the workout and average it out . Going to get a HRM but in the meantime its more accurate than the database.

I recommend a heart rate monitor, you really should be monitoring it while your working out.
Insanity really can elevate your heart, always best to know where you are at all times....

Thanks everyone! Looks like I will have to invest in a HRM soon! What do you guys log in under your exercises then here on MFP? Do you log it as just hard cardio? Or do you not log it at all?

I have a heart rate monitor that I use to log all my calories burned -- especially for insanity/asylum workouts. I would invest in one.
