Coconut Oil

hello all,

jsut wondering what you think the health benefits are to using this on a daily basis? or if there are any to using it. i have heard it helps with psoriasis (sp?) as i have that and want to start using it for that but wondering if there are any other benefits.

  • I am new user of coconut oil (the beginning of July). I love it as a lotion and have since quit using other lotions. I eat 1 T a day. I usually have 1/2 T in my coffee and 1/2 T on my toast. This is daily. Other times I do bake with it or add it to something, such as a baked potato.

    There are many health benefits but everyone may not see the same benefits and others benefit more than others. Most everything I have read recommends 3-4T a day and I in no way consume that much. For one thing, I can't afford to.

    I dont eat it but it has been working wonders rubbed into my hair after washing. Nice,smooth and shiny!
