High protein, low calorie recipes

Hi guys,

I'd love some recipes for lunches and dinners that I could make which are high in protein and low(ish) in calories. For a lunch I'd stick to about 400 cals, and dinner about 600-700 cals. Anything would be greatly appreciated.

There are no foods I would not try. :) (EXCEPT MUSSELS!!!!)

Thank you!

Skinless chicken breast with salad ? The former is mainly protein, the latter is mainly water, so high protein low calorie.

Thanks. I have salad with turkey or chicken and some sort of fish (prawns and tuna mainly) every single weekday for lunch, and while I do enjoy it, I can't help feeling a bit bored lately! I love meat and fish so I'd happily incorporate them into a different kind of recipe.

Any new salady ingredients would be appreciated too. If you read my food diary for today I listed out the salad I had.

It's all in the seasoning- lime juice, fish sauce and palm sugar mixed up with fresh chopped chilli and mint makes an awesome dressing for steak, chicken or fish. I also simmer capers with red wine vinegar and a tiny bit of butter to make fish interesting :)

If I'm pushed for time I just grab a pot of cottage cheese and an apple. I also like salmon fillets with asparagus or salad. Add some lime and coriander leaf to make it more interesting

My best friend loves capers, but I have never tried them.. what do they taste like and would they go well in a standard salad??

I love cottage cheese. I WISH they had it at my work canteen!
