Hey. New again to MFP; brand new to this group. My main focus is on healthy living and not necessarily weight loss - although I won't turn my nose up to it! I've been using C25K for about 6 weeks but am only now completing week 3; I'm terrified of getting hurt so I recycle weeks to make sure my body (and mind!) are ready for take off!

I'm hoping to gain some tips and tricks about everything from lacing my shoes properly to keeping my breathing even so I don't generally feel like I'm dying.

Nice to meet you, I'm sure :)

Hello and welcome! I've used C25k on and off for the past 2 years. For me, the outlined schedule doesn't work with my body and running level...I finally realized that after my last attempt a couple months ago. It's a wonderful program that I don't want to give up, so I'm currently "re-writing" it to better suit me by doing things daily, lengthening the program and altering week progressions a bit. I'm just going out and walking and running right now but I hope to start my altered C25k next week :)

Best of luck in your goals!

Thanks!! I haven't yet made it past week three in the three-ish times I've started the program; I've made a commitment to start week 4 tomorrow - the guidelines are heaven sent for me. You're great to be able to do it on your own!! Good luck, girl!
