I know what you're going through. I gained about 40 to 50 pounds in the past few years and it's frustrating. Just remember, it's not just loosing the weight but also a lifestyle change too. :) I just joined and I'm going to do my best on portion and calorie control and hopefully, with that and some exercise, I'll get back to where I was. You won't loose it all at one time but if you're patient, it'll come off. Feel free to add me as a friend.

Is this the first time on the site? If yes, the system has some cool stuff. You can take your entries from one section and turn them into a meal if you're going to eat the same selections again and again. It's the tab next to the add food section (on the right). I love that one. Also, eat all the calories it tells you to eat...going under may stall your weight loss. I've been warned about that and now lots of people who are eating like it says and they loose weight. I keep my meals to under 500 calories and insert two snacks. That way I never feel hungry. It's made a huge difference. I've even lost 2.5 pounds in my first two weeks.

It is so hard to be at the starting point, but think of it like this...this winter, you can be half way there, next summer, you can reach your goal. Put it in smaller increments. A month from now you can be 10 lbs lighter and no longer have 100 to lose. I hope you friend me, I would love to be there for you.

Good for you! You came to the right place! As you get started look for recepies with a variety of good salads! Remember eggs an fruits as your looking at your options. The raisins and dried crampies are fun too! I've head that excercize is only 25% of the fight. So, the food you eat is that much more improtant. I've lost 30 and just I'm just starting to moove around with out being in pain. So, anyway.... keep your goals acheivable and fun!
