I recently started using my fitness pal and had a general question about the tracking tool. My goal per day is set at 1200 calories...typically I'm slightly under but I've noticed that my allowed amounts for sugar / protein are sometimes over the recommended amount.

I'm eating more fruit which is where most of my sugar is comig from. Is this going to slow / alter my progress for losing weight? Carbs / Fats are usually below the allowed amount. Are their fruits that I should limit?

You will lose weight at a caloric deficit, period. Regardless of carbs/protein/fat/sugar intake.

I suggest you make generally "good, healthy" choices and consistently hit your calorie goal. Don't try to focus on managing every single little aspect, it's only going to drive you crazy and in the long run will not really make a difference in your weight loss! Best of luck!

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it...I will do that and not focus on each aspect of the tracker. I'll continue my healthy eating choices and continue to work out 5 days a week! Thanks.
