hi all , so im new to the forums been on this for a good 20 days
one thing i do question is the amount of calories fitness says you've burnt when
doing exercise. i wear a heart monitor and the calories
fitnesspal says is burnt when loading almost double if not more
just something they might need to look into.

id hate to be doing the work eat extra only to find out nothing is
happening?

anyone else found this??

If you're wearing an accurate heart rate monitor (one with a chest strap) definitely use those numbers, not MFPs. For me, for walking and running, MFPs numbers are actually lower than what my HRM shows. For biking, MFP numbers are higher. Go by your HRM!

thought as much, yes it is a chest one... shoe then im not sure
mine for an hour of intense squash burns 500 calories
and yet it i enter those numbers through fitpal its over 1000.
i just home my hrm is out because it would be devastating
to someone thinking they just shed 1000 calories, increase
    their intake and get nowhere...

    thanks though!!!
