Uh, Stuck!!

I've been stuck at the same weight for the last week. Which is very discouraging since I lost 8lbs int he first 2 weeks or so. I'm well aware that most of that weight was water weight, but still.. I loved seeing the scale move!

I'm still going to the gym 4-5 days per week and staying within my limited caloric intake. So, I know the results will happen. Why can't there really be a magic pill! LoL!

Thanks for listening to my gripe! :grumble:

omg you and I are in the same boat! I blew my sodium intake out of the water on Wednesday and yesterday I was upset because the scale still showed higher numbers so I blew my calories yesterday. Its so frustrating but I keep telling myself not to give up....its just one day at a time...

Actually as you eluded to you are probably not stuck. Your weightloss over the last week is likely just masked by the 8lbs that the scale said you lost the first 2 weeks, which likely was mostly water.

The scale can be evil. If you are eating right and exercising you will lose the weight. Just takes some time.

I agree with Katwood. You are probably not stuck, your body is just adjusting to the extreme weight loss and will start dropping the pounds again if you just keep doing what your doing! Sounds like you are on the right track! :flowerforyou:

I've been on a 5 month long plateau!!! :noway: Now THAT'S stuck! Gotta get rid of those last 10 pounds!

    Keep it up!
As you know, muscle weighs more than fat- so if you're still going to the gym and monitoring, you're probably losing body fat while gaining lean muscle. We can all use as much lean muscle as we can get since it burns so much more than fat.

So...keep on truckin! It'll happen! You're doing awesome so far! Eventually you'll reach that point in muscle gain where you start back down on the scale. :D
  • Wish I saw 8 pounds come off the scale!! Just trying to stick with it & keep exercising and hopefully i'll see some success. Always going over my calories by a couple hundred tho :grumble: seems like i always do good til dinner time then blow it. But anyway, keep it up and the pounds will come off!
