After workout suppliment (?) for women

I am going to start doing the 30 day shred and ive heard there are supplements or a drink or something to help ease the pain of muscle soreness? Glucosamine (sp?) or something? I know protein doesn't just do it.. is there something to help release the lactic acid out of the muscles along with massaging and stretching??
