Is this double dipping?

I have my Fitbit linked with my account so my steps are automatically logged and I am given credit in my tracker for it.
On the days that I do cardio the steps are part of my daily Fitbit total. Do I still track the time on the elliptical as a seperate exercise or is it double dipping?

I'm not 100% sure how the Fitbit syncs with MFP since I don't have one, but it sounds like it's already adding all of your calories/steps, including those from your workout, in when it syncs. So it does seem like adding the workout again via the Cardiovascular section of the site would be giving double credit for that workout.
But perhaps someone with a Fitbit and more experience can give you more details on how it all works.0 -
If you manually add an exercise w/the start time and length it will alter your fitbit adjustment accordingly to prevent double dipping. So you can log it or not without worry about the double dip.0
