Sedentary or Lightly Active

I have a desk job, but I find myself getting up a number of times during the day and walking to/from other offices in my company. We are fairly spread out so my FitBit gets a good workout based on number of steps. In determining my diet profile, I'm not sure if it is best to list myself as sedentary or lightly active. I log about 7,500-8,000 step/day on a non-exercise type work day.

You are not sedentary - with you daily step count you are light activity - if you average over 10000 a day then you are moderate.0
