In the past 3 weeks or so, the scale hasn't budged at all. I've been going between 216-218 during this time. I was getting discouraged really badly, by the scale, dumb but I was. So today, my mom calls and wanted to take me and my daughters out to dinner. My 3-year-old had to go pee, so I'm in the bathroom waiting for her and I looked in the mirror, I look like I've lost a crapload of weight and I was so happy! I don't have huge mirrors in my house, the only one I really have is from the shoulders and up. I am not discouraged anymore =D

    Sometimes I want to smash my scale too! When I first started to try and lose weight..the first month it would not budge. Not one bit. Not up or down. I wanted to give up but I decided to keep at it. A month later...I started losing the weight. Even afterwards there would be weeks that I wouldn't see that scale move...but me measurements would move. I lost an inch off my waist without the scale moving at all. That's true fat loss no matter what the scale says. It's hard to get out of habits but sometimes going by how you look is so much more better and sometimes more accurate.

    I've never measured myself. I did take before pictures though. I should again.

    Yea, you should measure for sure. I only do so about monthly but that's where I get excited to see differences. Well, that and clothing fit.

    I've been noticing that I look like I've lost two or three times the weight I have really lost because the exercise is making me slimmer in the face and healthier looking, plus my skin is looking pretty nice and smooth too. Better circulation!

    my mom said my skin looks clearer as well! I don't really have break outs or anything, thank God I went through that when i was like 12-13 lol, but the tone is better, more even. I'm very excited. I've only lost 12 lbs total, but it looks like a lot more =)

    That is a huge success! You were able to see the difference in yourself and are happy about it! Some people because they don't see a difference on the scale, don't pay attention to how they look and miss out on the changes. You were able to see the change and that made you feel good about yourself and happy! That's great! Congratulations!
