its very hard to keep to your caliries when you have a child in hosp . i had a focccia with salad and chicken and it was 660 cal.couldnt belive my eyes that half of every thing today . deff is alot easier to do this at home

I'm sorry to hear about your child. What a difficult time! It is hard to eat well at the hospital with the limited choices and, to me, high prices. We pretty much lived at the hospital during our (adult) son's 2-month hospitalization about 1 1/2 years ago and found the same thing. Everything fried and fatty -- go figure that in a health facility the Chick fil a was about the healthiest! We started taking food with us.
I know it is hard to plan ahead for the next day when you are so tired and stressed. Just do what you can do during this stressful time.0
