1 week with Insanity- 4 lb lost! requested by my friends

Hello~ It's been only 1 week since I started Insanity and I've been losing a little bit a day. And after 65 days of MFP, I've FINALLY heard from my BF that three people have commented on my weight loss.

My friends saw my consistent updates on weight loss and requested comparison pics.... so here they are! :D

    Nice!! I tried plyometrics today from p90x, my friend let me borrow it. I'm seriously considering investing in insanity, but I live in an upper apartment... is there lots of jumping around?
  • @laybabe821 - Insanity has a lot a lot a lot a lot of jumping. The exercises are all quick repetitions and core exercises with little rest in between each exercise. Since Insanity main way of burning fat is to utilize heavy cardio work, there is a lot of running, stomping, jumping, and strafing. I would definitely invest in a yoga mat - one that is a bit heavier than the standard - to reduce the noise.

    Jillian Workouts, ie. Ripped in 30 - is a bit less jumping.

    P90X - is more for muscle gain or weight gain, and can be used to reduce weight, but Insanity should be the best.

    Hope this helps! Jumping is a key component for a lot of these programs, so a yoga mat might be a good idea.
