Today is going to be hard-

My sleep cycle is all messed up and I am trying to fix it so for tonight I am not sleeping (this is the only way i can fix it, i have had to do this in the past). My brother needed a ride home from the bar last weekend (the 4/5th) and I didn't get to bed till late and have been trying to get back on schedule. If I try to sleep I will crash for 8+ hours and not get up till noon.

When I am tired I snack- A LOT. I plan to try to get in a few short walks today, and spend some time in the pool with the kids. Can anyone suggest some heathly snacks that won't mess me up? I can't drink any more than 1 cup of coffee due to the acid and I hate energy drinks.

I could really use a bit of help today. Thank You

    raw veggies and low-fat dip (or no dip).
    nuts
    greek yogurt
    protein bar
    beef jerky

    I think your idea of planning exercise as a way to reenergize is good. Maybe stick w/ fruit and veg snacks and a light lunch so that a heavy meal doesn't make you tired. I think nuts are good too.

    Good luck staying awake today! I'm sure you can do it if you keep moving.
