I eat nuts every day, but only small portions, like 5 almonds.0

Ya I have been trying to do small portions but they seem to be the only snack I want latly and they make me feel full longer.0

They're great for that purpose. Just have to be careful. They are pretty calorie-dense so you can ruin a day in a hurry if you get too caught up in the can-to-mouth action.0

Nothing wrong with nuts!! I work a couple servings into my daily meal plan. For me they are calorie dense and a good source of essential fats. I eat 3200 calories a day so they help me get to my daily caloric intake goal... Best of luck0

They are full of healthy fats so eat them! Just be sure to weigh they out so you know how many fat grams you are eating.0

I eat raw almonds every day. I measure 23, and that is my serving size, but i stick to just the one serving, no more.....0

I believe I have heard almonds & walnuts are better than cashews.0

They're great but only as good fat sources, they're high in unsaturated fats either mono or poly. Most of them are also rich in vit. E, riboflavin and minerals so a handful of nuts is a great choice in diet. They're not protein snacks like most people suggest as on cal/protein ratio they're worse than a McD hamburger (of course I'm not saying eating McD is better than eating nuts).0 -

Cashews have more carbs compared to almonds and walnuts, compared to walnuts they (almonds as well) have very low omega 3. But they're still dense in minerals and different vitamins. Personally I like my walnuts and would never change it for anything else. But if someone doesn't like the taste, I can't argue with that.0
