In about two and a half weeks I'll be going to an event and I'd really like for my muscles to appear more "defined". I know that losing water weight is not losing fat and that I won't actually be defining my muscles. This is strictly for the short term sake of my appearance. I've read that doing a very low carb/no carb diet is a good way to lose glycogen stores and water weight. Is this what you would recommend? Is it even true? And if so, is two weeks enough time to make a difference?
Any other suggestions? I am planning on maintaining my current exercise regime and calorie goal.
Again, this is just short term. After the event I plan on resuming my lifestyle that includes carbs and I fully expect to gain back all lost water weight.
