Hi everyone I am a 30yrold Momma of 5. Been big my entire life, smallest since adulthood was 155 after I had my son, largest was 215 I am trying to get off the roller coaster that has become my life, and focus on being around longer for my kids and gkids. I'm from GA, and love my comfort foods, which has been my severe downfall. Cornbread, collards and fried porkchops anyone...LOL. Had a huge wake up call recently when I opened my eyes and saw my oldest son, he was following right in my footsteps. Obese, couldn't run, and he just accepted it I decided to take back my life, and start doing what I should of done for my adult life. Understand whats going into my body, and how it effects everyone in my house. I don't want my kids seeing me like this anymore, and I want to be around for my husband and gkids 50 years down the road. I'm in VA now, so weather isn't too bad, and am looking to start going to the gym here soon. To incorporate more exercises into my day besides just walking at work. Any tips would be appreciated and all the support available LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!

Hi am new to the site too but ive been using the app for 6 months now i have lost 44 lbs, in that time its been emotional and hard work because what i have learnt is you have to try different things and find out what works for yourself and something you need to keep changing it so your body doesnt get used to it and stop losing the weight. I have been to the gym for walks and swimming i sometime i dont do anything and still lose weight. I can be really good and eat well and exercise and stay the same or a can be bad and lose 2 lbs or a can be kind of good and only eat 1100-1200 calories and gain a lb lol its weird but i just keep trying and when you start seeing the weight come off it makes you want to do it more and more and the saying is true nothing tastes as good as thin feels.0

Right now I am focusing on learning portion control and making sure I eat. Had a bad habit of not eating breakfast/lunch and then gorging myself at dinner I eat breakfast every morning, lunch @12 and Dinner around 6. The structure definitely helps me out a lot to make sure I eat, and eat a mix of things. Right now I am at 9 lbs lost, might not sound like much but my energy is thru the roof!!!! My plan is to get off 25lbs to get weight off my knees/hips, and then start walking/biking on top of the walking I do everyday at work. Probably walk a half mile at work, and I started taking the stairs. Little things to build up into bigger and better things0

i'm NOT new.. but i fell off the ladder !! DON'T DO WHAT I DID. now --- im going to try try try not to fall off & lose motivation. I'll never see a change, if I don't make a change in myself for the good. Health is a life style, it's a marriage. It's dedication & determination. I'm with you !! & could use all the motivation your willing to give & i'll give it right back to you * set small goals and do this together, and eventually see the change we want.0

9 lbs is really good a loss is a loss thats the way i always think. They way i always seem to go wrong is if am not busy a tend to pick alot thats my problem but i have been going for more healthier meals since ive had this app. I didnt realise how many calories where in the things i was eating and it really shocked me, i worked out that my husband would eat around 5000 calories a day and he blamed it on taking some kind of tablets for the gym when he was in afghanistan lol so now we are both being good as we can we can only do our best0
