create new exercise to add?

How do I create an exercise and assign calories if it is not already in the database? For instance, I clean horse stalls every morning, but the closest thing I can find is "shoveling snow" which is not exactly the same. ... and how do I estimate calories burned for a new exercise?

Hi,
When you type in "cleaning stalls" and it comes back saying no exercise found, scroll down to where it says "Add an exercise to the database". From there a new page will open that allows you to customize.
I'm just about to do the same thing for kickboxing and make a "Beginners Kickboxing" because as much as I'd like to think I'm burning 900 calories per hour.... I know I'm not quite there yet.
As for calories burned, try this website: http://queryhorse.com/toppages/articles/caloriesmucking.asp
And happy shoveling

Yay! Because the link you gave me gives me MUCH more credit than the "shoveling snow" that I was using! Thanks for the directions.0
