Hi there. I'm new(-ish) to myfitnesspal. I'm Canadian, 47 years old and... like many others, have been up and down the scales all my adult life. Recently (2 years ago), I lost 30 pounds on Jenny Craig and have gained about 20 back. I say "about" because, while my clothes are tight, I do NOT want to get on the scale because I find weighing myself has a REAL negative impact on my attitude, continued efforts and overall demeanour. :explode:

    Hey, I'm Canadian, too, eh? Are there any Canadians from the West Coast? Lower Mainland to be exact. As you can see from my ticker I just joined tonight but MFP is one of the tools in my getting-healthier toolkit. I'm feeling inspired and motivated. I hope that stays because it's a long journey that I have ahead of me! But I can do it.:happy:
